You can reach us from Monday to Friday from 9am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.

We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Of all the types of leather, this is the one that offers the best quality. It has kept the top layer of its hide intact. Thus, it is the thickest, brightest, silkiest and most resistant leather. The grain is the part of the animal’s skin where the top layer of skin, the dermis, is located, where the animal’s hair was implanted. In contrast to “top leathers” or “corrected grain” leathers, full grain leather has not undergone any treatment. Its surface is pure and raw, it has not been sanded to remove major defects. This means that each full grain leather is unique and has small characteristics that give it its charm and personality.

For the upholstery of our chairs, we use exclusively full grain sheep leather called “basane”. This is one of the best leathers on the market: it is soft and shiny, breathable, pleasant to the touch, resistant and extremely durable. We buy our leather from the Basane d’Or leather factory, located near our workshop in Toulouse. They treat their skins with vegetable tanning to guarantee their quality and longevity.

As required by the right of withdrawal, you have 14 days from the date of receipt of your order to change your mind and return your item.

Only normal priced items can be refunded. Items on sale cannot be refunded.

Please note: You are responsible for the shipping costs of returning your item.

Return procedure
Make a written request from the contact us form.
You will receive an e-mail with the address to which you must return the product as well as a return number to stick on the product when returning it.
Drop off your package at the carrier of your choice and keep the proof of delivery.
Conditions of acceptance of a product return by our services
The item must be unused;
Not have been unpacked;
Be perfectly new;
Returned in its original packaging that has not been tampered with (no tears and properly closed);
Returned within 14 days of receipt.

Any product that is not identifiable with its return number will not be received by our services and will not be subject to a refund.

* Exclusion: The right of return cannot be exercised for made-to-measure items: In particular, retraction is excluded (article L.121-20 .2 3ᵉ paragraph of the Consumer Code) for contracts for the supply of goods clearly personalised or made to the specifications of the consumer, this concerns all counter-branded products which require manufacture according to the specificities (colours, comfort, suspension, made-to-measure) desired by the customer and whose execution began immediately, with the customer’s agreement, before the end of the 14-day period provided for above.


Once we have received and checked the product you have returned to us, we will send you an email to confirm the return procedure. In the same email, we will tell you whether your refund request is accepted or rejected (for example, if the product has been tampered with).

If your refund request is approved, the total amount of the item will be refunded to you according to your original payment method. The refund will be made within 14 days of your request at the latest. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

A validation request is sent to you via your bank’s server, by SMS or via your bank’s application, as for any classic purchase on the Internet. Once you validate your purchase, it is automatically taken into account by our services and the order is launched.

By cheque

We only accept cheques from French banks.

You can pay your purchases in 1 or 2 times.

For the payment in 2 cheques, the first one is cashed at the registration of the order and the second one 8 days before the expedition.

The order is validated only on receipt of the cheques.

By bank transfer

When validating your order, you just have to choose the option “Bank transfer”.

You will immediately receive our bank details by email with your order confirmation.

Then, as for any bank transfer:

Connect to your bank with your usual bank details;
Register our bank details;
Carry out the transaction for the total amount shown on the invoice sent by email in a secure manner on your bank space;
You will receive an email confirming your purchase as soon as we have received the funds in our bank account.

Warning: 2AL never calls its customers to ask for their bank details or other confidential access codes. We decline all responsibility if a customer wrongly communicates his bank references to a third party.

Default of payment: The company 2AL reserves the right to refuse to make a delivery or to honour the order of a customer who would not have paid, in part or in full, a previous order.

Our website is fully secure and uses HTTPS (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure), which is a secure transmission protocol that encrypts your personal data to prevent it from being hacked or exploited for malicious purposes. Our website is certified, so you can browse safely.  In addition, payments are made on the secure servers of our banking partner. This means that no banking information about you is transmitted via our site.

When you place your order, you can choose between two delivery methods.

Standard day delivery (1 driver)

Delivery is generally made within 48 hours between 9 am and 6 pm by appointment, by half-day. Your order is dropped off in front of your home on the road. The delivery person, who is alone, drops off the packages and does not take part in the handling. You will need help to move your chair inside your home. The packaging will not be taken back by the delivery person.

Premium Delivery (2 delivery drivers)

Delivery is made within 15 days by two movers after making an appointment. Your parcel is unpacked and installed inside your home and in the room of your choice. In the end, you don’t have to do anything. The packaging will also be collected and disposed of by the deliverers.

Making an appointment

The carrier will contact you by SMS or e-mail to arrange a delivery date. Usually within 4 days after collection of the order from our warehouse.

Premium Delivery is only valid for mainland France.
Delivery times are given as an indication and may vary during school holidays, Christmas and New Year, or in case of bad weather (snowfall, ice).
Collection from the warehouse

Your goods are collected by your own means from our warehouse in Portet-sur-Garonne by appointment.

Delivery cost

You will automatically obtain the cost of delivery by entering the country and postcode of your address when validating your shopping basket.

Taking back your old sofa

We can take back your old sofa, but only as part of the Premium Delivery. To do this, simply make a request via our contact form.

Each item is made to measure for each order. In general, our models are produced within 7 to 8 weeks. After all, quality takes time!

Production times may be longer depending on the time of year. The end of year and summer holidays can slow down our usual production rate. If your order is associated with a particular event, please let us know by contacting us via this form. The production of your product will then be subject to a special follow-up. 

Absolutely, as required by the legal guarantee of conformity, your club chair is guaranteed for two years from receipt. This guarantee applies to normal personal use. This excludes, for example, intensive use in a restaurant. For more information, please consult our general terms and conditions of sale.

Patina is a subtle method of colouring leather to give it an aged, raw and more authentic appearance. It is common for leather to discolour in areas exposed to repeated contact and rubbing. Other factors that contribute to the natural wear and tear of leather include perspiration and moisture. Most often, these ageing marks are found on the armrests, backrest and seat. So when we patina leather, we are reproducing an aged effect that is usually acquired with use and the passage of time.

It is largely the patina that gives antique sofas their charm. To achieve an artificial patina, we use a colouring cream which we apply in successive layers to give subtlety, intensity or depth to selected areas of the upholstery. Patination has become a real art that gives the furniture an authentic look and cachet. We then apply a protective wax to the entire leather. The patina depends on your personal taste. Some of our customers prefer not to apply any and let time do its work.

While they are more difficult to install than standard Nozag springs, they are also much stronger and more comfortable. They offer a soft and supple seat that earned it the name “comfortable chair” in its early days. Installing bi-conical springs is a choice of tradition, but also of quality.

This is an ancestral and artisanal process which aims to transform a raw animal skin into usable leather. Conventional industries use chemical ingredients (notably chromium), which attack the skins and make them fragile. In addition, they release toxic compounds into the environment.

In contrast, vegetable tanning takes its time to produce quality. Thus, the skin is bathed in different baths to purify it, remove the layers of fat and then soften it. One step after another, the hide is transformed into a rot-proof, hot-water resistant leather, ready to last for many years. As the name suggests, vegetable tanning uses compounds based on plants such as chestnut, mimosa or oak. This natural process makes the leather hypoallergenic.

They both share a number of features; basane leather upholstery, solid wood frame and legs, inimitable seating comfort, wide armrests and the use of upholstery nails applied to the back. These are two types of high-end furniture that are extremely well known and much sought after throughout the world. Timeless armchairs with a history of prestige.

The chesterfield is distinguished primarily by its upholstered leather with large buttons on the backrest and the regular diamond-shaped armrests. The armrests also have a very sophisticated curved shape that is characteristic of the chesterfield style. Usually the armrests and backrest are at the same height. This highly refined piece of furniture requires a high level of technical expertise. Its silhouette and buttoned leather, reminiscent of a coat collar, have quickly become a symbol of social success. Its British and retro look makes it particularly sought after by large hotels and business centres, where it immediately gives an image of luxury and prestige.
