Before being sewn by hand, it is vegetable-tanned by our renowned tanner in the southwest of France. This natural process enhances the leather, allowing it to retain its resilience and the unique markings that give high-end authentic leathers their charm.
The Gentleman 2 Seater Club Sofa benefits from waxing and patina applied manually. The patina reveals the colour nuances of the leather and gives it a slightly aged appearance. These marks will be more or less intense and deep depending on the instructions you provide.
Like all club furniture, this is primarily a handcrafted piece dedicated to comfort. Thus, you can select a custom level of padding: firm, medium, or soft, according to your favourite. Additionally, we offer an optional biconical spring suspension integrated into the structure, supplying greater seating flexibility. Its backrest is secured with upholstery nails that enhance its vintage style, a signature finish that we can replace with leather piping upon request.
To extend the lifespan of your club sofa, we have preferred solid beech wood for its frame and legs. We oven-dry this solid wood to stabilise the material before assembling it by hand. This model is available in eight timeless colours: Havana, honey, chocolate, cognac, red, black, antique green, and English green.
