Before dressing this handcrafted child club chair, the leather undergoes a vegetable tanning process. This ancestral method preserves the raw nature of the leather and respects the environment. Even better, it makes the leather hypoallergenic.
This full-grain sheepskin leather, 1.4 to 1.6 mm thick, is ideal for children. Indeed, it is one of the softest and most durable leathers available. Your child can romp around freely, and the leather will not tear. The Hemingway child club chair has been designed with the same attention to detail and the same materials as a traditional club chair. The frame and legs are made from solid beech. The back is fixed with upholsterer’s nails, giving this little club chair a charming vintage design. However, we also offer a piped finish. Soft, medium or firm, you can choose the level of comfort you want for your child. The waxing and patina will be applied entirely by hand by our craftsmen, according to your specifications.
The Hemingway child club chair comes in eight timeless colours: cognac, honey, Havana, chocolate, red, black, antique green, and English green. Additionally, we can create custom colours based on a sample of your child’s favourite colour, for example.
