The Jules 2 Seater Club Sofa is the result of a perfect blend of traditional methods and modern manufacturing techniques. It is entirely covered in full-grain sheepskin leather, also known as basane. This high-end leather has retained the thickness of its original surface thanks to vegetable tanning.
An ancestral process that makes it supple, soft to the touch, and very resistant. This noble material enhances the natural presence of this exceptional piece of furniture. The complete structure of this club sofa (frame and legs) is made of solid beech wood. This wood, which we kiln-dry, is particularly robust and durable over time.
Its beautiful rounded shapes are elegantly highlighted by an upholsterer’s nails applied to the back of the seat. This traditional finish reinforces the historical character of this 2-seater club sofa. However, if you prefer a simpler look, we can apply a piped finish upon request.
The seat cushions are fully removable and washable, making them easy to maintain. Whether you like soft, medium, or firm, you can choose the type of rest that suits you best. Additionally, we propose a frame with biconical springs, an option that provides even more flexibility and comfort.
We handcraft the dyeing, patina, and waxing of the leather. This allows us to offer custom finishes and achieve more subtle or deep shades according to your tastes.
You can choose from eight classic basane leather colours: Havana, honey, chocolate, cognac, red, black, antique green, or English green.
However, if you have specific preferences, we can create a new custom colour in collaboration with our basane gold tanner. The Jules club sofa is available in a 3-seater version, 2-seater convertible, and 3-seater convertible. For a complete ‘club’ living room, you can also pair it with the Jules club chair.
