At Mon Fauteuil Club, we carefully select the finest hides for crafting our entire range of club chairs and sofas. For the Corvette 3 Seater, we use full-grain sheepskin leather, as well known as “basane,” with a thickness of 1.4 to 1.6 mm. This leather is incredibly soft to the touch, providing a luxurious feel, while also being extremely durable and resistant to wear.
Our artisans dedicate hours of meticulous work to achieve the sofa’s unique patina. The leather undergoes traditional vegetable tanning, after which it is hand-dyed and waxed to perfection. Since leather is a natural material, it ages gracefully, developing even more character over time, and making each piece truly one-of-a-kind.
The structure of the Corvette 3 Seater is built from solid beech wood, known for its strength and durability. This ensures that your sofa is not only stylish but also built to stand the test of time.
Both the backrest and fixed seats are generously padded, ensuring optimal comfort. Whether you’re unwinding after a long day, entertaining guests, or curling up with a book, this sofa provides the perfect balance of support and relaxation.
Hand-applied nailhead trim accentuates the curves of the high backrest, adding a touch of craftsmanship and elegance to the overall design.

Our Club chairs are made of 1.4/1.6 mm thick full grain sheep leather (basane leather).
This leather is renowned for its strength and softness and guarantees excellent long-term durability.
The vegetable tanning of our skins is done in the Toulouse region by a tannery with world-renowned know-how.
During assembly, in order to obtain an optimal result, we wet the leather so that it perfectly fits the curves of the model.
We then let the skin dry naturally.
Once the chair is dry, we colour it with the chosen shade.
Once dyed, the leather is patinated and waxed by hand to bring out the roughness of the leather. This step underlines the elegance and the beautiful natural colour of the material. The back is studded or finished with piping, as desired.

The frame and legs of our models are made entirely of solid beech. Our wood is kiln-dried, which increases its strength. The joints are carefully stapled and glued.
